The Association of Tennis Professionals or ATP was structured in 1972 for protecting the interests of male professional tennis players. The organization has arranged the principal worldwide tennis tour for men since 1990. The ATP Tour was renamed in January 2009 and now it is known as the ATP World Tour.





ATP World Tour 250 series
The ATP World Tour 250 series is a new series for tennis tournament of the ATP from ATP World Tour 2009 and the lowest rank of events on the tour. It is a continuance of the ATP International Series which consists of 40 tournaments with the number of 250 ranking points to win for the events’ singles champions. All tournaments have a draw. A draw of 32 will go for singles and draw of 16 will go for doubles except for the AEGON Championships because it has a draw of 56 for singles and 24 for doubles.
