The International Basketball Federation (French: Fédération Internationale de Basketball), usually recognized by the French acronym FIBA, an organization of national groups which one presides over international competition in basketball. R. William Jones Cup which one also recognized as the Jones Cup is an international basketball tournament and it was held per annum in Taipei, Taiwan. Otherwise, it was named after basketball promoter and one of the founders of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Renato William Jones. Actually the tournament was started in 1977 and the Jones Cup tournament was held per annum. It has two version of William Jones Cup; one of them the tournament for men’s basketball and the other for women’s basketball and the moral is both dominated by American teams since 1977.
